I parked my car behind the Cathedral and then went on an eight kilometres walk through Lowertown, continuing along the Capital Pathway, past fishermen hoping for good fortune, circling back to the Market to visit merchants happy to see me, and then buying lemon gelato from Casa di Moni. Here and there, locals strolled in their summer clothes past potted palms. I found a spot to sit as socially distanced buskers in a mostly empty sun-drenched square heard it through the grapevine that this too will end.

I loved this. It gave me a taste of what is to come as I continue to pack for my move.
Thanks Chris
